Try the Wheel: 3-Day Beginner Series  at Seven Sisters Pottery & Studio

Tuesdays on October 6th, 13th, & 20th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Curious about wheel throwing? Start here. This short, hands-on series is a chance to try pottery on the wheel without committing to a full course. This three-session series is a chance to get your hands on clay, learn the basics and see what the wheel is all about.

Over three 3-hour sessions, you’ll learn to centre, open and pull clay and create simple forms such as cups and bowls. You’ll have plenty of individual guidance in the Seven Sisters small studio, and your finished pieces will be glazed and fired for you.
 

This is a good choice if:

• you’ve never used a pottery wheel before
• you want to see if wheel throwing is for you
• you’d like a creative experience without a 10-week commitment
• you’re happy to explore the basics rather than jump into developing a higher level of skill

Come ready to get messy, have some fun, and make some pots.
